ESCAPE from Alcatraz & a Festival and Expo

This Saturday, June 14, head to San Francisco to watch as Olympic Medalists and triathletes compete to ESCAPE from Alcatraz. The 2009 triathlon features a 1.5-mile swim from Alcatraz Island to the beach of the St. Francis Yacht Club, an 18-mile bike ride and an 8-mile run through the trails of the Golden Gate Recreational Area.

There will also be a free Fitness Festival & Expo on Saturday and Sunday located at Marina Green, the finish line of the Triathlon. The 15th annual Fitness Festival & Expo takes place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. with over 40 vendor booths.
